At first, Ky EL and Sam “Ses” Simmons wanted to host a vegan cookout with a small group of friends and family members to spread the word about veganism. From there the vegan cookout grew to The First Annual Hudson Valley Vegan Food Festival where over thirty local vegan vendors and hundreds of acquiring minds were able to learn more about the growing lifestyle. Our Local News Director Mercedes Ortiz was there to cover the event and partake in the festivities!
