Album Of The Week 4/04| Jhene’ Aiko & Big Sean- TWENTY88

2016 has been a great year for music and it is not over yet. With little warning, Big Sean and Jhene Aiko dropped a joint eight track album and it is everything you wanted and more. It is very sexy and smooth, showcasing the strengths of the two artists. TWENTY88 is full of Big Sean’s witty flow and Jhene’s smooth and hypnotizing vocals. The album opens up with a track titled, “Déjà Vu,” which finds both Jhene and Big Sean equally venting lyrics that represents their gender’s experiences in relationships. This is how the two continue throughout the entire album and it’s easy to see that they bring out the best in each other. The standout track on the project would be “Talk Show” in which Big Sean and Jhene Aiko engage in a powerful back and forth conversation that really highlights what can go wrong when the public is let in on your relationship. Apart from the amazing vocals and bars on TWENTY88, the album has a deeper message about love and the possible  complications. Our favorite tracks over here at The Edge are “Selfish”, “On My Way”, and “London Bridge”, Be sure to check it out!
