Album of the Week| Good For You-Amine

Amine’s debut studio album “Good For You” is the bomb diggity! From the triple platinum banger “Caroline” to “Spice Girl’, American rapper from Portland, Oregon, Amine, has us all in love with his upbeat vibes and sultry raspy voice. The album features samples from Ty Dolla $ign on “Veggies”, Nelly on “Yellow”, Offset on “Wedding Crashers”, Charlie Wilson on “Dakota”, and Kehlani on the bonus track “Heebiejeebies”. ‘Good For You’ has an extremely lighthearted mood similar to the cover infused with dope polyphonic synths, glossy melodies, and just the right touch of AutoTune. Mad credits to Amine for his visionary and clever bars on the slower more mystical tracks like “Sunday” and “Turf” where he gets introspective to “Money” where he critiques materialism.
